Dave Weston should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BRSCC Rockingham - 6th & 7th April

Just had notification of an amended timetable due to an over subscribed Mazda field:

http://brscc.co.uk/assets/timetable-...---issue-3.pdf

So, who else is coming along?

When I said I wanted to be an oil magnet, that wasn't quite what I meant. 2 exploding Porkers + ensuing chaos from the following cars. Fortunately, none of them hit each other & a change of underwear later, they were ready to go out again. At one point I was showing red, yellow & red/yellow all together.

Hope the extricated driver was ok.

Really good fun meeting - catching up with all our friends in the MR2 contingent was a bonus.

A little chaotic on Sat morning, but hopefully we soon had the specialist areas running Ok and reasonably efficiently, especially since there was only really 5 of us for pits, pit exit, assembly and S/L, with some really big grids, and lots of last minute changes.

AndyT did a stirling job in pits!

Really good fun two days!

Does anyone know how the driver injured in the Fiesta race on Saturday is? Drop me a PM if you do.

I would like to thank the few but certainly multi talented marshals that came to this meeting.. I believe all of you had a good but cold couple of days.. The incident reports that came in were good quality and were dealt with by the clerks accordingly...
I hope to see you all at our next Rockingham meeting 5/6 May for British GT and support package.

Roy Salsbury BRSCC midland region chief marshal.

He was there for the Sunday and was interviewed by Brian Jones over the PA. Battered and bruised but otherwise OK and made a specific point of publicly thanking all the marshals and medics who were involved.

Thanks for that, also to Terrible-Tones and Sticker Rub for the PMs.

I was on post 4 on Saturday. Although I didn't see the incident (obscured by the fence line) I was closest, but as I was behind the wire I couldn't do much apart from watch. In itself that was interesting but also rather frustrating.

Relieved to hear all was OK.

We all had specific instructions not to feed you through the fence as well!
