gravel_monkey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Oulton park Barc meeting

well what a day to have my first "race" meet of the year. great to catch up with everyone. as always i have managed to get a lovely winter tan on just my face an know look like a fat match stick.
just a quick thanks to all my crew at avenue. a quiet day for us but everyone onpost made it a fun day and great to be back, pleasure to work with as always.
glad everyone from old hall in the legends crash is ok, that was even for me watching with my reputation, one hell of a biggy. from what i have heard on the grapevine mr mickel was bumped and bruised with concusion and a night in hospital, if so just shows how good legends cars are built and how good all the team at old hall and the medics were. as said, twas a biggy.
cant wait to be back but nearly four weeks away for me, humph. see you all then

Was a good day flagging at brittains, legends were great as were nw sports a and saloons, the rest were rubbish (apart from the battle for the lead in the last race) they could have combined grids to run 2 races instead of about 5! Hope the legends drivers are ok, what happened?

Thank you to all for supporting our CTCRC races yesterday. It was great to see so many people on each post. Sorry the racing was not more exciting but it happens sometimes. See you all next season!

This was my first ever race meeting, what an experience it is to be on the other side of the fence.
A great day, some great racing and a tan to finish off

The cars were lovely, I just have no idea why they can't combine cars onto 1 grid when they only have grids of 10 or so cars which are incredibly similar. It can't be that much fun for the racers either....might as well go on a track day, it's cheeper!...if the grid numbers were bigger the racing would have been far better as the cars were really nice. I'm sure it can't be profitable for the club with such small grid numbers either, surely it would be better to combine grids and either have 2 races per championship or invite other series in to fill the time

I personally liked the racing, love the Ford Anglias and Lotus Cortina, don't see enough of them and Watching that Mini #1 sideways though Druids was great.

A great meeting with some classic cars

Brian the I/O (forgotten his surname) was hurt at Shell and had to go to hospital with suspected broken ankle. Does anyone have any update on this?

Try going through the BMMC. If he's a member they may let you have his contact details. Failing that I would think that the regional chairman should contact Brian to find out how he is.

Thanks to all at Cascades, usual happenings and minor carnage to deal with. Interesting day as trainee Post Chief as well, more reports!
Quite different though watching from a height though was expecting some pigeons to roost there as well as the geese.
I think we should name it though. Any suggestions, clean please!
