who's your 2014 F1 Champ..
as I've already guessed who's going to win this year's title (your a brave person to bet against Seb), I'm gonna have another punt for next year's title, if RedBull let's Daniel Race I'd say he'd take it out on his debut year like Hamilton did.

Vettel would not have let him anywhere near the team if he was any sort of threat. I suppose there will be the usual "he was robbed" cries from the audience if he does not do as well as Webber but I am also sure that Vettel will be a very happy man. The main aim of any No 1 driver is the keep his boot firmly on the neck of the second driver and slowly choke off his ability to be a contender. I suspect Vettel is a master at this, even better than Alonso. Alonso wanted Massa for one reason, he was no threat.

I think Driver Dan will take some big points next season and would not be surprised if he takes the championship at all.

We seriously saying Dan could win the title in his first year at Red Bull, alongside Seb....?
I won't call you crazy, but that seems somewhat optimistic, fellas! Seb for me, no doubt. Selby |

I see our Aussie contingent are steadfastly keeping their collective feet on the ground as usual.

I reckon that, not only will Caterham get podiums, but the Hulk will storm to the championship in his yet-to-be-confirmed Enstone seat.
You wanted optimism, Selby? Assuming the 2014 calendar is the 21-race draft, then here are how my wins predictions look: 5 - Vettel 3 - Ricciardo, Kimi 2 - Alonso, Hamilton, Mystery Lotus driver 1 - Button, Grosjean, Perez, Rosberg |

I predict that I will be the 2014 F1 WDC driving an unsponsored, self funded 2004 SEAT Leon TDi.
I've been wrong before, mind. |

I just stuck a pin in a piece of paper and your 2014 F1 Champion is ....(dramatic pause with a drum roll) CHARLES PIC . That is not an official prediction by the way !

It's (slightly) more likely to be someone from Britain than someone from Australia.
In fact, if we assume every driver with a seat has an equal opportunity, it could be four times as likely. However, I suspect it is more likely to be a German or a Spaniard. Or possibly a Finn. |

But remember that he can't overtake.
In all seriousness, we don't know who it will be. I suspect that Mr. Newey will produce a fairly competitive for Herr Vettel, but we don't know what part the new engine regulations will play out - especially with the Mercedes and Ferrari's engines. |
