It depends if they received the 2014 FOM money before 31st March 2015 which the financial year ends in the UK.

In the whole string of Merc operations, it's a drop in the ocean.

Right on dj, if you take the international exposure the Mercedes F1 program has generated for Mercedes, the £76.9million loss is still just a drop in the bucket. I wonder what the consolidated advertising budget of Mercedes is, anyone?

Alternatively, this can be seen as Mercedes saying, it's going to cost us £76.9million, to win the WDC, the Constructor's championship and have the runner up driver to boot and we're prepared to lose that amount of money because of the exposure it will bring. It looks like Mercedes are headed for a repeat of last year's achievement. I wonder what this year's loss will be? Last edited by bjohnsonsmith; 6 Oct 2015 at 06:44. |

So since 2012, Mercedes GP have posted losses totalling circa £162million.... Unsustainable unless you have massive corporate backing
Its also interesting that McLaren are late in filing their accounts for 2014. They will probably be shocking reading, and even more so if you strip out the £76.3million of "heritage assets" on their balance sheet.... |
