Replying to Threads . . . .

. . . has grown very difficult for me in the last few days. I have to try two or three times to get the complete screen where you type your message to appear.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Probably your internet service provider, Maxmil.
I'm on Freeserve and sometimes have this problem.

Funny thing is it's only this forum, and it's worse here in the GT than on the F1 Board. It's getting to the point where I will give up the forum. It's just not worth the hassle. Took it about three full minutes to fully open this screen for the reply.

Strange. I occasionally used to have problems, but they were passing. If I went to another website for 10 mins, and came back, 10 Tenths was working fine again. Everything's been OK at this end for several months now. It would be sad if we are losing members over something like this though. Perhaps someone with technical knowledge can be more helpful.

The only problem I have sometimes (and it's always in the evening here in the UK) is that it can take quite a while for my replies to posts to appear. Normally they appear within about 5 seconds, but sometimes they can take a minute or so to be generated. As you say, if I leave 10/10ths and go to another site and come back again, it often seems to clear it. I certainly haven't had the kind of delays you're talking about (fortunately).

Well, having brought it up for discussion seems to have improved things. To make this reply, for instance, took only a few seconds wait. Computers are designed to frustrate their users.

I have also experienced delays waiting to actually post replys once they are written. These, however, seem to occur only at certain times of day like evenings in Europe and the UK. I have put these down to just heavy traffic, as they usually clear up pretty quickly.

Yep, like all good racers, I think you should put your problems down to "traffic"!!
