Now the compensation weight kicks in, and Hyundai is 50kg ! heavier then the Audi, 60kg heavier then
Honda and so on. I'm glad that happed, but i still think a more modest BOP right away (probaby more like +25kg for Hyundai on the Honda, Vw and Audi) would have been better, especially for national series. But Hyundai will be nowhere this weekend.

It's on WTCR Facebook page. No idea if it's region locked or needs logging in.

Thanks. Couldn't find it last time I tried but hopefully they've fixed it by now.

Yeh, about the BoP....

Hyundai 1-2-3 even with significant weight. Someone has their numbers completely wrong...

How come the Hyundai is a this much better car? To me that suggests that Audi, VW and Seat have really half-assed their cars, perhaps focusing too much on customer-friendliness vs all-out performance.

And I'm kind of surprised, that the JAS-cars, which aren't quite the same as a full factory program, are that close.

Really surprised with Hyundai performance. It is scary to think that they are actually 50kg heavier than the closest car.

Again no live coverge on Eurosport? Move to TCR was great but for the rest they make a mess of the new series.

The slightly annoying thing about the BoP is that we all called it last year when the Hyundai debuted in TCR Int. If you are serious about winning a championship, you sell your VAG or Honda and get a Hyundai for 2019. Problem is, it was made out to teams that it would be closer than this. With such a weight difference, Huff should have been further down the road from the Hyundais in the lead.

Don't forget, Race 1 is only broadcast online, via Facebook or Oscaro.com.

Great race. But... Hyundai is way too strong.

I think that road car time is made on Nordschleife only, not on combined circuit.
