Bette Hill

I appreciate that it was in December 2017 that the First Lady of F1 sadly passed away but because I was out of touch with all things motor racing due to my ill health last year, I only found out today that she had passed away because one of her next door neighbours told me.

I remember seeing her at the 1975 Monaco GP when she was with Graham and his fledgling team. They both waved to the crowd as we clapped and cheered when they walked along the finishing straight.

She was one helluva lady who was an incredible wife and mother.
