Hungary awful as usual. As boring as 1998.

At one point it was in danger of becoming a snooze fest but became a thoroughly intriguing race. 8

After the last race this was always going to be less exciting but the battle between Lewis and Max was still good, gave it a 6

Reminded me of Mansell hunting down Senna in Hungary '86, except without the suspense as Max still had to do another stop, which he did after losing 1st place for some reason.
Giving it a 6, which is generous. |

He didn't need to do another stop as such. Rather chose to so he could get the point.
Piquet won in 1986 after overtaking Senna like a Brazilian taxi driver. Perhaps you are thinking of 1989? Although, you will no doubt note, that he got past Senna because he got held up by a backmarker and this couldn't happen now because of the blue flag rule and the backmarkers actually helped Max stay ahead because it gave him DRS at the same time Lewis got it. Oh, I was thinking of the 1986 Spanish GP!

The really close finish. Nige thought they should share the points.

For a dry race at a dull circuit it was much better than I expected. Enjoyed the TR battle, the Max/Lewis scrape mid race and the 18 qually laps Lewis drove seemingly error free.

7 for me. Didn't live up to the last couple of GPs and as I was at Brands I only saw the highlights that were severely edited. The chase of Verstappen by Hamilton was pretty entertaining. Magnussen's swerving all over the place was less so....

9. Feel like RBR gave it up a bit to easy in the end.
