President Trump at Daytona
It is not the first time the president visits Daytona during the 500 Nascar.I do recall Ronald Reagan and Richard Petty won his 200th race.
Few days ago President Trump (with Melania) made his appearance at the Florida oval and with his beast had one lap but not on the banks ( why?). All the racing cars followed him and his security making a good boost to the race and Nascar. I'm sure he enjoyed that as well as the spectators. |

It apparently weighs 22,000 pounds. There was a lot of detail not disclosed as to power and capabilities as far as speed. I imagine public exhibits that would show performance parameters are not allowed for security reasons.

I believe the car would need to be running at 70mph + to be able to stay on the banking.
Also can't see the dudes responsible for the Presidents safety green lighting any sort of risk like that. |

Exactly that, if they haven't tested it empty they aren't going to make the first run with him in it. I believe we all know the car could do it and the drivers could handle it but as a couple members can attest, the banking is STEEP. And you must be committed to stay up there in your GTO

This topic doesn't deserve it's own thread! Maybe the Beast does but certainly not the clown within.
