Too many stellar drivers to pick just one!
great drives from the back, great final drives for their final team outings, one title securing drive, a couple of drivers setting themselves up for next year, and some memorable laps for those seeing their potential last GP. |

I voted LeClerc, but could have picked Hamilton, Norris, Sainz or perhaps others.

Lando Norris. Winning the WCC was down to him and he delivered.

Voted for Leclerc for going from 19th to 3rd. Could have gone with Lando who today carried McLaren to the WCC single handed.... but gave the vote to Chuck.

Hard to see past Leclerc for that excellent drive through the field. Knew the constructors title was out of his and Ferrari's hand, but he still gave it his all.

Hamilton for me, great drive. Leclerc? Yeah, he did very well, but the carnage at the start helped him tremendously.

Some notably excellent drives, including charges through the field by Charles and Lewis, but I'm opting for Gasly for helping Alpine seal sixth in the championship with another strong finish. He's been on it lately.

Can I vote for three drivers please?
Lando Norris: P1 in qually, P1 in the race. A smooth, calm, calculated performance throughout, fortunately for McLaren. That was a different sort of pressure. Charles Leclerc: 11 places gained on the first lap was astonishing. Reminiscent of Senna at Donington, but in the dry. The rest of his drive up to third was impressive too. Lewis Hamilton: This was the Lewis of old. It's what we would have expected in the past, but I was really beginning to think maybe he was over-the-hill. Clearly I was wrong, and very pleased to be wrong. If the Ferrari is to his liking next year, there's the possibility of a 9th (moral) and 8th (in the stats) world championship. Gasly also did well. Yes, the car is much improved, and his teammate was a first-timer, but he was way ahead of Doohan. BTW I tossed my three-faced coin and it came down in favour of Leclerc. |

Surely the same applies for Lewis? They were both at the back and various people tripping over each other made their passage a bit easier - LeClerc made quicker progress through the pack than Hamilton (and from further back).

Hamilton didn't make much progress early on when he was on hards and everyone else on mediums. When the tyre situation reversed, he made his charge. |

Lando for me - dealt with the pressure of carrying all McLaren's hopes after Oscar was taken out, made no mistakes, did a thoroughly professional job and delivered.
Oh & very special mention to Charles - that first lap was epic, as was the rest of his drive. |

couldnt decide after the race who to pick, but a day later and its Norris. converted pole to victory, got that monkey off of his back, held his cool, sounded measured all race, and he set the table up for next season beautifully.

I confess that I saw Charlie's rise as easier. I may be mistaken.

I gave it to Charles Leclerc but kudos to Lando and Lewis. There is still life in the old dog.
