Team Brock

so will it happen this time ???/

its been talked about for so long now and again it has come up.

Peter Brock has apparently got involved with Rod Nash Racing and has backing from both Holden and Mobil and of course James will be the driver and joining him will be Craig baird.

But will it happen this time and if it does how do you think the team will go ?

remember also that Ron Harrop is rumored to be joining as well.

I for one am hoping that it does happen and I wish them all the best.

Flaggie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I hope it does happen couple of reasons:

1) I cant see Peter Brock getting involved unless there's a chance of him winning. If this means there's another Holden team that might challenge the TWR cars, then that's good.

2) Good to see Bairdo get a seat full time.

3) Rod Nash is a decent bloke and deserves some success.

I'd like to see it.

I think it is a goer it has all the right ingredients.
(1) a driver that said he didn't want to follow his father (stepfather) and just wanted to be a mechanic.
(2) a manager who is well known for his management skills, re HDT v ATO, HDT v GMH.
With all that what else do you need?

And also don't forget:

(3) Co-driver who even to this day in this very same Auto Action article is STILL squawking that he doesn't know the tracks. Do you think lack of track knowledge bothered Marcus Ambrose when you got punted and he took over your seat ?

Yes...it's only a matter of time before we see the headlines along the lines of "Racing is in the blood..." whilst we all know James is Brocky's step son !

TEAM BROCK !!!!!!
BROCK and RICHARDS together again
well Steven Richards anyway
Well it is true, but at the moment it's a 2 car team for TARGA Tassie

Is this team every one is confusing with a V8 supercar one

I belive James has been preparing the 2 cars at a Melbourne work shop and dont they both look startling in the corporate RED of HOLDEN

Cant wait to see where Brock can place the Monaro, a top 3 finish!!
Last years Monaro( the Ute was just a cover up )was running well even with its problems and wiyh it now sorted it should be a real flyer

Are they running the car in the Grand Prix Rally as well? I know Brock is - just not sure who his navigator is at this stage (won't receive the entry list until about a week before the event although I have the schedule on line)

They are running in the GP rally and peter's daughter is Navigating

I'm not sure if Steven is running but it would be good practice for him , his navigator for Targa is Jenny Cole , does anyone know what she's done before?

Saw the Monaro Brocky will be driving for the Trading Post Rally on the news last night. They showed a quick 5 second shot of the car being thrown around a couple of corners - looked absolutely magnificent !

I thought the Monaro design was a little dull when it was first revealed but it seems to look a whole lot better in the shots that have been released of it since then.

How dare I ever doubt those genius craftsmen at Holden !

Hey! Enough AF bashing... I know for a fact that there are at least two articles in the current edition which won't win their author any lie telling contests

I said 'girlfriend'... and her surname was Cole.

Raced a time or two, too... no longer a Cole though. Well known about the place.
