Your favorite Charlie Cox moments

Most of us have heard the unfortunate news that CC is not going to be commentating this year. What is your favorite thing that he's said while commentating?

When he said "out of the way fatso", during the live coverage from oulton. He said it to the Michelin man on the grid.

favourite cc moment: his commentry when even he seemed to be amazed that Craig Baird was leading in 1998 at Knockhill.

5 great years for charlie he's very quick with remarks and bought touring car racing to life working so well wiv John a worthy successor to Murray Walker in 1998. We'll miss u CC.

How about a Charlie Cox standard from each race;

"It's not racing it's skittle's"

The one that'll maybe stick with me the most is "it's as close as you like" or "Howdy Audi, welcome back to the front of the field!"

Jimeth that was actually at Mondello Park in a battle between Phil Bennett and Dan Eaves.
JW countered that by saying, "Mondello Park promised close racing, and I've never seen touring cars like this!" I said the exact same thing after I heard him say that.

ah well, close enough! it be the quote that matters!
I also remember "It looks as if he's used it in a ram raid!" and "It looks like its done 10 rounds with Frank Bruno!" Or was that Wattie....

Yep, the quote is the one that matters. I think one that Wattie did made me laugh the first time I heard it.
"They're like a pair of ferrets having a squabble in a sack!", also from Mondello Park.

Those 2 quotes you're reffering to came from CC.

Another Coxy standard was the reference to 'giving so-and-so a wet and dry rub-down' whenever drivers were engaging in a bit of 'argybargy', as it were.

My favourite was when he kept calling Jean-Cristophe Boullion "Sunshine". That was really funny.

Harvey fan, now that you bring back JCB that brings back some memorable quotes.
Jason Plato to the Renault pits-"Tell JCB to hold off Muller!"
CC-"It's like trying to hold off the terminator with a water pistol!"
