Dont know how representative these times sre but hopefully Martin and Simon can do a bit better come race weekend! Anyone know anyhting about the Renault Clio? |

Dunno if im the only one interested in this (Jasongore?) but these are the speed times over the start finish line for Silverstone
Porsche GT2 Cook/Cunningham GT 142.7 mph Saleen McKellar/Erdos GT 142.4 mph TVR Speed 12 Barff/Caine GT 141.5 mph Stealth B6 Pudwell/Greensall GT 140.3 mph Lister Storm Warnock/Jordan GT 139.8 mph TVR Tuscan Short/Pullan GTO 138 mph TVR Tuscan Lynch/McLoughlinn GTO 138 mph I guess that just shows the overall dominance of the Lister that it can be Slower top speed but still lap much quicker,7 secs quicker than a car it is 3mph slower than, could be interestin when we get to some high speed circuits? |

So basically Snetterton, Thuxton and Coombe(?) where speed is king because of long straights, the Saleen could dominate. |

yeah but look at the Cook Porsche, im a bit suprised by that! obviously needs s bit of work in the corners! think your right about the run up tho, i remember in monza last year in FIA the Vipers were fastest (by 2mph if i remember correctly) through the first speed trap on the short straight but on the long straight the Lister was almost 4mph faster than Labre, dunno if that is relevant tho, what with the differences?

If the Lister can be "slower" through the speed trap but quicker over a lap, what is the LMP going to be like? will it be able to take on the Audi's?
