First race was at Vallalunga. Dumas won it i think.
Eurosport had it on 'Series' a week ago. |

Round 2 at Nurburgring was cancelled due to snow.R3 is on Sunday at Enna-Pergusa. Anyone fancying a holiday in the sun, the first round of the Italian F2 series(for the earlier F3000 cars)is the following Sunday at the same place.

There's lots of information about Euro3000, including times from today's Enna free practice sessions at www.formula-3000.net
You could also try the official web-site at euro3000.tiscali.co.uk, but that doesn't seem to be quite so up to date. |

NEWS FROM PERGUSA.
The race was kindda boring, but a couple of drivers did a greta job. Alex PICCOLO (GP Racing) went on to the lead from pole and kept it way from the rest. In second came Jaroslav JANIS (Charouz ISR), and let me tell you this Czech kid is only 18 yearls old, and he definetly was the last on the brakes up turn one ... we will hear a lot from him in the future. Finished 5.3 seconds from the leader. 3rd was Gianmaria BRUNI (Coloni) who did a good race taking advantage of other's mistakes and keeping his nose clean. Some other guy's races: FARFUS (Draco) very good until it last. Spun on his own when was 3rd 6 secs behind JANIS. DUMAS (JVA) crashed on turn one right after the start when he touched Basso's Lola. Vitor MEIRA (ADM) did "a Zonta" when i missed 5th gear in the main straight being overtaken by both sides by MELO JR and BUSNELLI. That was a scary moment. Well guys, for those who are able to go to the next race in MONZA do it cause there is a lot of talent out there. |

Also MartÃ*n Basso (GP Racing) did a good race; he was touched by Dumas and he falled to 13th position. During the raced he climbed to final 7th.
NME, can you watch Euro 3000 races in your country? |

NME,
It's not clear. You be present at the race or you only was on the city and know about the race on TV there? About "Series", I know in last year they presented some Euro 3000 race reviews. Perhaps they're will do again this year but I'm not sure. I can't see Eurosport on my country anyways. |

Guys, i was there for the all weekend. I stayed in the Riviera Hotel just on top of the track. I could see the main straight from my window. I was at the track from Friday to Sunday. I was guest with one of the teams, so i had the chance to see the race from the pit wall.
This is why i had the chance to get all the information. Maybe i will be able to attend a couple more races. If it happens i will share the details with you guys. My advice. Go to Sicily, it is very nice. The city of Pergusa have great pasta restaurants and outstanding mountain views. Regarding Euro F3000. I suggest you guys try to go to one of the races, cause there is a lot of talent on those drivers. Cheers, NME P.S.: Hey Mekola, your guy BASSO did a good job, but not a great one. Neverthless i find him a very good talent, specially cause he is a rookie in european tracks. Hasta luego y Suerte para MB. |
