Nice tires JPM.

JPM so good Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha race you make me laugh. Remember 2001 jpm was looking for a wall to throw his car at.

JPM so good - he aint that good
Williams car good - it aint that good
Michellin did their part - yep. The reason for pole maybe....

It's good to be a JPM race fan. but please do not expect him to win.8P

Anyway, who predicted JPM to take pole here after his performance last year?

so if the sole reason for the pole was the tyres, what happened to the other "michelin" runners?

please go and stand in the corner of the room and face the wall, while i go and find the hat with the "D" on

Even though Im not a Montoya fan - you have to give credit where its due. Great lap by Juan Pablo to snatch pole. I couldnt help smiling when I saw him knock DC off the top

Too bad Ralf is down in 4th - unless there's carnage I cant see him winning the race being Monaco and all.

So good luck to Montoya - Ill cheer for anyone who can beat the 2 Ferraris at this point !

I once said I'd admit he's for real when he could race at Monaco and Belgium. He's gaining my respect every day- especially after his hilarious comments regarding the fiasco last race.

I might be joining this group soon <sigh>.

woo hoo!!!!

what kinda fuel strategy is usually played at monaco?
would it not make more sense to run a 1-stopper for juan since he is in the front and its so difficult to pass there??
yay or nay? just curious...

what a great sports day...quals at 7am - brazil-malaysia at 3pm - Nets beating the Celtics at 5pm

Edit: Inigo - i saw your post about his comment but i havent been able to read it online....very funny stuff

Indigo, at least with your name - the Montoya part - it will be an easy step for you. You are welcome here any time.

Give a bit of credit where it's due Champ69. Montoya blitzed it today. "Montoya, he ain't that good". What does that make the rest then?. Oh and remember 96, schu stuffed his Ferrari into the wall on lap one whilst running second, and that was with 4 years experiance on the circuit!

Well done JPM fantastic pole, lets see you finish the job in conclusive fashion tomorrow.

i hope he does well tommorow and to be fair to MS damon, wasn't it raining on the first lap?! im not that sure as i wasn't 'into' racing then but i did see that race.

Maybe a Monaco Pole is too much emotion for a second year try, to control his body...

And take a look on that guy in red outfit ... Excellent shot !

Gee Champ69, give the guy a break. I'm a Michael fan and also expected him to stuff it up, but hey, he did'nt. It was a brilliant lap and on a circuit where pole is very important. ANd lets face it, this championship desperately needs a non-red car to win just to keep it interesting.

Well done Monty, and good luck in the race.

Fantastic lap by JPM yet I still can't believe the members who won't give JPM a break, despite the fact he's put the car on pole by 4 tenths of second.

Credit where credit is due guys.

BTW, my man Heidfeld had a shocker so I have to cheer for JPM tomorrow
