Guy going rapidly backwards across the grass - who was he?

I caught the beginning of Eurosport's "WATTS" programme last night, and there was this guy who was going backwards across the grass very fast, then clipped the back of another car as he crossed the track, the backwards going's car turned around, and he went into the tyre barriers head on. I wasn't really prepared, as I just left the TV on, so I didn't catch who this driver was, or which series the clip was from, but I seem to remember hearing "Formula Nippon". I could be wrong though.

Did anyone else see this? Can you tell me who was involved (both drivers if possible), which track and which championship we're talking about? Those guys were very lucky, believe me, had the guy who was going backwards arrived just a little bit sooner, he would have hit the other guy right in the cockpit area, and at a very high speed - much higher at the moment of impact than the Sato/Heidfeld incident in Austria from what I can reckon.

OK, thank you. Maybe someone else knows who the drivers were?

I remember hearing about a serious accident in Nippon earlier in the year. There was a thread about it somewhere. I don't know who the drivers were.

The crash your talking about happened during the second Formula Nippon race. I'm trying to remember who the driver was, but can't.
