Any TC2000 fans and news?
Has anyone been following this series this year? It seems that due to the financial difficulties in Argentina, the series seemed to have suffered a setback. I think Toyota VW and Peugeot pulled out. However, I visited the site recently and Toyota seems to be racing in it again. The series seems to have been cost cutting themselves.
Sadly, VW, Chrysler and Peugeot have disappeared. The series is now basically a 5 makes series--Chevrolet Astra, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Mitsubishi Lancer and Toyota Corolla. The websiste is at www.tc2000.com.ar Last edited by kmchow; 12 Jul 2002 at 04:24. |

That's true. The TC2000 is a very good championship but this year they are with a cost problems because the situation of Argentina economy.
I hope that in 2003 some teams can be joined to competition. |
