Drivers that deserve a seat in F 1 ?

There seems to be quite a few drivers sitting on the sidelines at the moment trying to get a their backsides in a F1 seat next season .

Just out of interest , Who do you want to see in F1 next year ? , it doesnt matter that there is hardly any seats availble , its just interesting to see who you would want to see in F1 next year if you could decide .

Id go for --in order of priority

1 /Antony Davidson

2 /Tomas Scheckter

3 /Justin Wilson

4 /Dan Wheldon

I'd have to say, Helio Castroneves, i think he'd do really well in F1, i'd also like to see Scheckter in F1, but i fear that he'd be chucking it off the road more than Taku and Felipe do.

Castroneves would certainly do well if he could get used to road and street courses again. Bourdais, Enge or Pizzonia to name but 3 from F3000 could all do it. Justin Wilson, if the car's designed around his height from the start. I'd lvoe to see Marc Gene behind the wheel in a race again, I'm sure he can do it.

Not sure how he would do, but I'd like to see Tom Kristensen get a shot.

I would put James Courtney in my list and MR WURZ should be driving in races not wasted in a test role!

The list could go on forever... I think there are probably about 200 or more drivers out there that could compete in Formula given the opportunity.

freud has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
As shiny points out, JV & Fisichella deserve a better drive

Those who deserve f1 seat.. hard to say there are so many good f3 & f3000 drivers. I would surely like to see a few more drivers from the British formulae.

Since you mention Heinz Harald, he is one driver with some poor racing luck. He and Fisi can write a book on how to be in the wrong place when there's never a right time!

If you are a young driver currently in a lower formulae, you certainly want to impress enough to earn a test drive or a testing role. Testing is a good springboard to a drive for most, unless you happen to be Badoer or Wurz!, in which case, you pray for a third car.

Alexander Wurz deserves another shot at F1. He was treated like garbage at Benetton so am hoping he'll get a run at McLaren or another team in the near future.
