The Moon Monkey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Next Team To Quit F1!

Who will it be then folks.

Minardi or Jordan???? Or another team perhaps?

If Minardi lose the Prost money they battled for earlier in the year, well, they will be gone.

As for Jordan, there seems to be alot of debate regarding their (lack of) sponsorship for 2003...

Any views?

I think all ten remaining teams will line up in March, and depending what rules get changed, should also complete the year.

Arrows are gone though.

No matter what Ferrari have done to the sport this year, if they went under it'd be a serious blow to F1.
That's like saying for MLB(for all the North Americans here) to contract the Yankees, or for hockey to move the Canadiens.
Ferrari are among the giants in racing, and without them, F1 would whither. What I would like to see, is for Ferrari to change their approach, and bring back real racing to the team. Back to the days of Enzo, Gilles, Fangio and Lauda. When drivers actually raced each other and the team was about racing, not commercial gain.
Snuff out the team orders and the number 1 driver cr@p, put 2 good drivers in the team and let them race each other.
If you ask me, people would flock to their tv sets to watch say, Jacques Villeneuve and Michael Schumacher go down to the wire at Suzuka fighting for the championship.

And why won't it happen?
Because Ferrari is run by a bunch of **** **** **** **** idiots named Toad and Brawn!!!!
The Ferrari of lore is gone, replaced by a big ugly red commercial machine.

Gone are the days where you could just buy a DFV, pop it in a year old chasis, and race it at a grand prix...

Jordan, probably, and BAR if they lose the tobacco money and don't lose Jacques' huge salary. Jaguar in 2004 unless their fortunes improve quite a lot.

And thats the problem. F1 is rulled and run by marketing men looking for an oportunity to push product, and not by guys who raise money to buy kit simply because they want to go racing. When there is no longer money to market product they walk away because racing was never in their hearts and souls, just another way to pad the bank balance.

I'm convinced Minardi are done. As for Arrows, there are rumblingsd that TWR are far too important and influential in the World Motor Industry to allow Arrows to disappear.

Jordan is with us for a few more years. Liz is correct, BAR and Jaguar will be the next to go after Minardi.

Toleman have a nice looking car but it isn't very fast. Lucky for them they have an excellent driver.

Well, he's not as good as Prost, but some people are saying "Wait and see ... "

Yeah... That Rory Byrne chap is getting pretty good with his chassis... He might have some potential.

That Senna guy might have been brought up too fast, though. Cecotto was really really handicapped in that year-old Ensign-come-Theodore he drove last year... He should really show his potential now. That Hart engine's got a real kick.

Can you believe Tyrrel's _still_ using Cosworths? Man... They'll never attract a decent driver. Did you see who they've got this year? Some German kid who won't even be there for all the races, 'cause he's driving for Porsche in Group C. They won't last more than a couple seasons from now.

Ferrari is the most likely next to go, as they don't like the rule changes.

The FIA won't let Minardi go under, as they have the final say on who gets the money. There is nothing the other teams can do.

Language that is elaborate, pretentious, insincere, or intellectually vacuous?

Meaning... Being stupid on purpose?
