Cheers & Jeers

I know Roselady likes to read these & posts them once in awhile. I've posted a few I really enjoyed *G* but you can see the rest of them here...http://insiderracingnews.com/cj102202.html

JEERS to seeing Junior picking his nose behind the interviewed Rusty Wallace. Then he chewed his nails, too... don’t worry, though, it was a different hand.

JEERS to Brett Bodine picking up where his probationary brother left off, and knocking Andretti outta the way early.

JEERS to some kinda stack up that started with Jimmie hitting his owner’s car, then getting hit by Hermie, who was then hit by Junior... I wonder if Jeff Gordon checked up and caused all that.

JEERS to Jeff Gordon being two for two in spinning guys for cautions. Maybe he figures that if HE doesn’t like Martinsville, ain’t nobody that oughtta like Martinsville.

Jeers to NASCAR !!!

Jeers to NASCAR for taking 25 points from Ward Burton !!!

NASCAR Winston Cup Series team owner Bill Davis, driver Ward Burton, and the crew chief Frank Stoddard were penalized by NASCAR on Tuesday.

The penalty was the result of a post-race inspection that found unapproved front springs on the car.

Davis was penalized 25 owner points,
Burton was penalized 25 driver points
Frank Stoddard was fined $10,000.

The team owner and the crew chief are responsible for the car, I will accept them being fined and penalized but not the driver !!!

For once I wish NASCAR would get it right !!!

JEERS to NASCAR websites that are crawling with Web Bugs. (There's 5 on that site.)
CHEERS to Stealth Browsing.

Oops... Looks like I kind of strayed off topic here. (Sorry, guys...) Oh well, this is information all computer users should know. So this is my computer security software list.

Ad-Aware Plus ($40.00) works great, and they also have a free version.

Guard-IE is what spotted those web bugs. No free version of this one, but for $30.00 (at the moment, $35.00 normally) it's well worth it. It's a popup blocker (including those annoying javascript based ads), cookie manager, browser cache manager, and web bug detector, all rolled into one.

I also use Sygate Personal Firewall Pro 5 ($40.00), but they have a free version thats good too.

And the AVG Professional Anti-Virus System ($40.00) is the best, and fastest AV software I've found. They also have a free version.

The free versions of these programs have fewer features than the pro versions. But they all work great, have free updates, and are not time limited or ad based. But I registered them all, because they have features I wanted.

Yeah, he has. And considering that it's an acceptable thing for most drivers, I don't see any problem with him doing it either. Some drivers do it to him, he does it other drivers. No big deal. Fair's fair.

Burnsie, not having a Mac, I never pay attention to what's available for them. So I can't help ya there. But you could click on the links I posted and see.

And Stan, I posted a link to AVG... Didn't you see it?

No problem, Stan.

For anyone else who didn't notice, the blue text in my above post are links. So if you need those programs, there ya go.

But I'll shut up about computer security now. Sorry I took this thread off topic.
