Will Ralf be Number 6 next year?
Just a thought, but will JPM take number 5 next year because he came top in the team this year?
Actually thinking about it, will the Williams' be 3 and 4 next year because of the constructors or will they just stick at the same like what happened last year? Last edited by Damon; 25 Oct 2002 at 17:57. |

I would say they would stay equal, but who knows? Besides, Williams will be 3 and 4 next year, because they were second in the constructors' title.

Car numbers don't make a difference to drivers. Anyone remember No.7 Coulthard moving over for No.8 Hakkinen in Australia? And do you believe that "driver's agreement" excuse? I don't.

car numbers did make a difference to Mansell......Newmann Hass piad out a fortune so that Nige could still be RED 5 when he went to Indy Cars in 93.

I think numbers are more important to drivers than we think because it means that they have done better than their team-mate the previous season, or are viewed by the team as the lead driver.

Well, not so sure about who will be 3 or 4, but we can count on this: Ralf's car will be the one getting out of Big Brother's way, and Montoya's will be the one lying broken beside the track!

Numbers aren't important at all, the most important thing is the driver (duh)

numbers are hugely important to racers. just look at aaron slight in the BTCC this year he had the number 111 from his world superbike days despite the fact that the tourer numbers where only suppossed to go up to 50. Another example is Valentino Rossi, he kept his number 46 after winning the 500cc title in 2001.

I had a "slight" impression that we're talking about F1 here... Not SBK or MotoGP...
Numbers other than N°1 mean very little in F1... And do you think i didn't knew that already?? Last edited by ASCII Man; 26 Oct 2002 at 00:13. |
