Kumho BMW / Formula Saloons
Hi,
Is there at least a provisional 2003 calendar for either of these yet ? I can't locate anything on the web. Cheers Stacy |

The two day weekend meetings are the double headers if that makes sense.

So we only have 12 races, and only one round at Brands thats strange, its a shame if that is the case as Brands is our local circuit and offers more to our sponsors.

Surely you have a championship AGM/get-together where all competitors can have there say/thoughts in the running of the series whether they be good or bad? Nothing against Mr.Woodcock at all as he's done amazingly well to bring the championship to where it is now but was there any dialog with entrants beforehand regarding just 6 meetings? PS: see the latest copy of Ingear Motorsport mag (WH Smiths)for a feature on the Formula Saloons.

Due to complaints about the high entry fees at some BRSCC meetings it was felt that the BARC offered better value and hence all the selected meetings are being run by them. It is a BARC registered championship. There is the possibility of non-championship open saloon events with the BRSCC, hopefully at Brands. It all depends on demand and supply. Personally I would always prefer more races at Brands as travelling costs, accomodation and time put me off going to places like Croft etc.

Brands dates are still changing (the content). Some are listed on the BRSCC website. Likely to be one in July and November sorry I can't be more precise.
