Thommo fan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
CART + BTCC and ASCAR???

having just been on thhe ascar website it says that there is an ascar meeting at brands hatch on may 3rd and 4th.

so does this mean that ascar are part of the support package to the CART event as well as the btcc?

that would be one hell of a race weekend if its true, dare i say better then the british GP

The ASCAR date at Brands was published long before the CART visit was official. I suspect ASCAR's calendar may now be out of date. Certainly all the press for CART has made no mention of ASCAR being there as well.

The Rockingham calendar was out yesterday and they have ASCAR scheduled for the Sunday of the CART weekend at Rockingham.

I don't think ASCAR will be running at Brands this year.
