Group C schedule
Anyone got any news on the Group C Revival calander for 2003.
Recently heard of a new Group C/GTP owners club to organise races. Will this have any effect on the calander. Which new cars are scheduled to appear this year? I've seen a very nice Toyota 88C advetised for sale, anyone planning to race it? |

There is a big meeting this Saturday to finalise things; basicly the drivers have taken over the series as they did with the old F1 (force) series. There is a new web site which is on http://www.groupc-gtpracing.com . We will all soon know how things develop but the calender looks good but I could fance a few longer races.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Is Brian Baily still involved? Great website. You have to put a gallery on there for new pictures of these great cars. Last edited by JAG; 13 Feb 2003 at 21:38. |

Yes Brian Bailey is on the comittee and organising the races. As of Saturday the 'Club' was officially established as a Ltd company. There was a tremendous turn out and united front agreed which means this Club can progress with bright outlook. As for links, the website is the property of the members and I will enquire about a links page with the other board members.
Its all very good news with much emphasis being placed 'correctness' of cars. I will keep you informed of developments, better still check the website, it will be updated on Tuesdays I believe. |
