Racewear Ebroidery
I have a company that embroiders all my company garments, and they are cheap www.designplus.co.uk but I'm not sure that I trust them with my new overalls.
I'm not sure how to enterperet the Blue book on this and the instructions on my overalls say. Ebroidery may only be on the outside layer and must be in nomex material. badges must have a fire proof base and may only be stitched on with flame resistant thread. Is this right? Can I embroider on the belt and ingore this? Should i get ordinary badges made and stitch them on with ordinary thread? Where can I get nomex material and nomex thread? What does everyone else do? |

If you choose to stitch them on in non-flame retardant (normal) thread, or have normal-based patches on, those will certainly burn should you be in a fire scenario, so I suppose you use them at your own risk. I have always had embroidery done by the manufacturer, so that it is done in accordance with what they recommend...
