Max doesn't show up at the Aussie GP
Max Mosley did not show up at the Australian GP, where all the changes that he made will start showing their effect on F1 racing. What do you make of it?

I heard he turned up late to the airport and missed his flight. I'm sure he'll be able to get another one.

A gentleman doesn't miss a flight. No, a normal person doesn't miss a flight. A gentleman is not late at a meeting, let alone skipping it altogether. If he's unable to get on plane, he should take an earlier flight instead.

Hmmm, why was he meant to be at either GP?
Is he a marshall as well or something? |

He was supposed to be the main protagonist of the Press Conferences. (Would have been fun to see Ron or Patrick chasing him in the paddock )

I think he really should've gone. The reaction to the new rules has been predominantly positive, but I'm sure some of the Malaysian press would've wanted to clarify a few things. He seems to be sending out a message that it's okay to send everyone else out to an Islamic country (albeit not a hardline one) during this war, but he doesn't consider it safe for him (perhaps due to his father's dubious political history).

Shouldn't he have a private plane or something? The FIA are clearly raking it in... He's having this meeting with the teams in Brazil at least - give him credit for that. |
