It looks like a sportscar after all. Good news, although it may mean that VAG are looking to clean sweep all the classes at LeMans!!

Although at the moment Cupra GT is still in phase of prototype, the people in charge of the mark have announced that the definitive version could be ready before the year finishes. The manufacture of the first units will begin solely in summer under order.
This sport one (that is inspired by the models Sauce and Tango) has been developed jointly by Sport Seat and the new Center of Design of the mark in Sitges. The seal of Walter de Silva can be appreciated in the aesthetic one of the vehicle, with a curved line that is born of the frontal and finishes behind. The dimensions of this prototype denote their sport behavior. It presents a length of 4.56 meters, has a width of 2.10 meters and its height is of 1.19 meters. Wheels of 18´´ reaffirms the lateral line of the vehicle. Through the radii of the rim the clamps of brake AP can be seen. The motor of Audi origin is a V6, with a piston displacement of 2,995 cubical centimeters, double turbo and a power of 500 bhp. The gearbox is sequential of six speeds. This one motor is not only characterized by its high power but by delivery from low regimes. Thus, its maximum pair is of 600 Nm. to 5,250 revolutions. Its terminal velocity is considered in 295 kilometers per hour. |
