He seeks them here, he seeks them there, but does he find Lee or Rick? Does he ARSE.

Where WERE you guys? In the bar no doubt.

I found the car - not much else. I gave up, I'm afraid. Too cold and rainy - went back to the car to warm up. Then kinda stayed at Quarry.

Yes, and where was Tony? You blaggard!

Oh yeah, took some pics (of course) - I'll post up a few when developed... next week sometime. Took some of Rick in the race at Folly. I suppose I should have sauntered back down and met you afterwards, but jeez was I cold!

Next time, someone owes me a burger!

-------------------
Question 1
-------------------
Pagids : my imagination or has the field been cut by half (or a lot)?

-------------------
Question 2
-------------------
Did that 911 in the Special GTs have a non-Porsche engine? Sounded very American V8. (I've left the programme in the car, okay!)

I'm sorry, Graham, but you seem to be a total arse when trying to meet people trackside! I hear you could even find Craig last week at Thruxton, and if you've ever met him, you'll know how fat he is...

We were there mate!
The tent was next to that big ol transporter, the car over the road in front.
Never mind, as you say, it was bloody freezing out there.
Pagid feild does have a lot less cars, because only four turned out for class c.
Because half the cars are illegible(not sure if that is a word or not!) now.
The car canot be out of production for more than 10 years, ruleing out about 4 regular metros. Plus Jullian Howel is doing Monopostos now.
According to the program, the Porsche was a porsche.
I thought the Marcos Mantis was pretty cool in the GTs. Bob light looking dodgy in the rain again!
I was stood at Camp Corner for most of the day, had my video Camara to get some of Rick's race, I also got an ARP F3 spinning into the bank. Quite pleased with the filming, untill the lens steamed up and I couldn't see anymore.

Well Lee
your lens got steamed up you try driving when your front screen is all steamed the last 3 laps I couldn't see diddly s--- thats why I had to slow down,at least I beat the MINI its good when its wet because the guys with modifyed motors can't use all their power unless you have 4 wheel drive and 390bhp well done gus I think he's upset a few people by coming 3rd just hope he can do the same in the dry.

Yup, you had a good race Rick.
The best Gus could hope for in the dry is top ten if you ask me.
Once Illsa Cox and a few of the others get their act together he isn't going to have a hope in hell.
I thought the best looking car was Keith Macaskill's Astra, it looks really smart, it is a shame he picked up a bit of damage in the race, I think he will be quick later on in the year.
What sort of cars do you think will come in to fill up Class C?
More Minis? (you would like that Graham)
Another Citreon AX or two??
Can't be many more cars up to 1400 that could race, any one got any ideas??????

Quite an eventful first meeting, if a little damp!! Still drying out the foot rot now...

Some good races - Pagids were great, and some good new Class A runners.. That Nissan has some poke this year! In the dry it should be awesome!!

ARP F3 were disappointing, we had 3 off at Tower - some nasty expensive damage and upset drivers!!! But that's half the fun.

Sportscar race was cancelled due to only four cars being entered!!!! made the GT's good though.

Pagids need more Class C entries, that's a very harsh 10 year rule (perhaps it needs to be reconsidered for this class). Can't think of any other cars to run on the cheap..

Oh Dear - Oh Dear - Oh *!^^~$
For the first time ever I failed to get to the grid. It's a complex story but all to do with the fancy new dry sump system I'm running cost me another day of preparation time - no problem, Chris and I just worked right through the night to get the car ready - (at 12.53 a.m. we only had 17 jobs left to do...) well it's club racing and if you're ready ahead of time you've probably forgotten something. So at 6.00 a.m. there was just time to check the oil pressure before we loaded up - hit the "GO" button and what happened - nothing ! well the starter went clunk but the engine didn't rotate - don't know what it is yet, somehow the flywheel and ring gear have jammed on the adaptor plate - I think all because we changed to a pre-engaged starter and ring gear because it's supposedly lighter and more efficient. So right now I'm pretty :eek ff ! but I'll get the enthusiam going again strip the thing down tonight and find the problem. Hopefully I'll get it all sorted for the meeting at Cadwell in a couple of weeks.
Sorry I missed all you guys - I didcome down at about 4 O'Clock to watch a very wet race and then went home again.

Are you hosted on FreeNetName?

Why not set up a Nedstat thing for your site? Lots of stats as well as a counter. Free.

You know, I think I remember that crash last year. Did Rick hit the edge of the tyres on the right-hand side of the entry to the paddock?

Whoa rick! those are seriously steamy windows, who was she in the car with you?
Try leaving the back windows open slightly, I do that and when everyone else has steamy windows, mine are still clear.

I might be thinking of a yellow Mini, then...

Oh, if you go down the bottom of my homepage and click on the widdle blue button, it goes to my stats. You can get one for Rick's site from the stats page.
