Weather should be excellent on Saturday and warm on Sunday with some thundery showers in the afternoon.

As for predictions. Hmm, well - T Sport to win in the Scholarship class.

That's a pretty safe bet. ;-) Unfortunately no Promatecme (if you believe Autosport - and I really hope they're wrong as Chris Weller and the guys are an excellent team and deserve better), no Performance either.

Should be an absolute scorcher of a weekend (weather-wise) and hopefully a stunning but safe slipstreaming battle from start to finish of both races with lots of overtaking. Either that or sun-stroke!

I reckon Menu F3 will win at least one race. Hopefully Rob! ;-)

I've not seen Autosport so I can't be sure what the story is - but all their drivers were leaving the last time I heard and that presents certain problems in running the team for a race weekend.

I meet the team boss of Performance at a race meeting in Sweden a few weeks ago (he was racing Superkarts and came 2nd). He told me they will race at Combe but only with Justin Sherwood. Jesse will be back for the last 4 rounds.

Local weather forecast here is generally good with just a slight chance of a shower PM Sunday. Light winds as well thank God. As for the winners of the 2 big races, I'll go for Russell Humphrey in the Saloons and Adrian Cotterell in the FF if he is there, Gavin Wills if he ai'nt. Here's to a bloody good weekend and a few sherberts in the Bell.

Can I predict a win for Piquet? Again?

The weather is purported to be very good indeed.

Where's michael keohane gone then?

Hamness, sadly Adrian Cotterell did not make an appearance but the FF1600 race was a cracker and from what I can remember the "Sherberts" in the Bell were excellent, as indeed was the food.... Roll on the Bredon Hill BAS round when we will see some proper racers overcome danger, adversity and a proper "bumpy" track, not the girlie undulations of combe that those F3 "tarts" whine about.... See you there and god help the B&B proprietor in Tewksbury.
