Well assuming it is real. Bernie was very good and said it how it was. Which, to be fair, is what he says even when he doesn't think he is talking to the Canadian PM. - The teams get less money the less Tobacco sponsorship we can have that is it. He is looking after the teams here. It has hardly revealled those conspiracy theories that have been flying around!

At the end is good, Bernie is suitably interested/dismissive. Well done Bernie.

I do love the way this forum, and the public at large, lay blame on Bernie and Max for everything wrong in F1 and everything else in there lives.

If you want to lay blame when a race like Spa or Canada gets cancelled, direct it to those who deserve it, the teams. With TV, Bernie could'nt care less where it's run, but the the sponsors do. Fortunatly, when the tabacco ban is 100%, we wont have to worry about such things.

Nobody else finds this prank disturbing in the least? Impersonating the Prime Minister of your country is funny? I for one think thats a pretty terrible thing to do, especially to humiliate a person already in the limelight like Bernie Ecclestone and talk business with him over the phone for who knows HOW many people to hear. That should be VERY illegal, and I hope those DJ's are prosecuted for what they did. They were discussing very sensitive information that isn't meant for the general public to hear. What those DJ's have done could possible influence future decisions on Canada's F1 race(s).

It's not like Bernie revealed anything that we didn't already know or could work out for ourselves. It sounded like the same talk he would give in a TV interview or similar.
