Tagliani and Servia are both yet to win in CART - new winner tomorrow perhaps??

Tags on pole. The crowd must have been ecstatic having a home town boy on pole. I expected Paul to be higher and Servia ran very well.
It's going to be a great race. |

I'm surprsied Tracy is so far back, his hopes of sweeping Canada are now quite slim. A first win for Tags and Rocketsports on home ground, with the Players connection and Paul Gentilozzi's efforts to save the series, would be amazing.
Adrian has really looked off-form recently, perhaps he is reconsidering his on-track involvement in the future. |

Just looked that F1 pole time this year was 1.15,529.
Remember, F1 is qualifying with race fuels, so that makes the gap smaller. F1 Q1 was wet so times couldn't be compared with them. |

That just brings the weight difference down a number of kilos.
Just about a second off from last year's time by CDM, who had ~800bhp and traction control. Last edited by ¡As-de-mim!; 23 Aug 2003 at 20:01. |

The crowd went absolutely mad when Tags crossed the line to take pole! It would be unbelievable if he won.

Great for Tag. I hope he wins. My other hope is that Junky doesn't gain on PT. It would also be nice for Servia to get a good finish. While PT is back a bit he's less than 4/10ths off pole. Check out Vasser, despite being 7th a mere 3/10ths off pole. That Rensky wing seems to be making a difference. The Reynard is no longer a complete loser chasis. I was looking back at old times, Q2 @ Cleveland had PC over 4/10s behind Bourdais' pole time.

It's hard to beleive Tagliani has yet to win a CART race. Montreal would be a great place for his first. I've got $5.00 that puts Tracy on top of the podium or in the gravel trap within the first 3 laps. Any takers?

I hope Tags or Servia manage a win, while I'll also be going for Manning. He deserves a podium.
