Sparky should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

... A mighty big thanks from this British Formula 1 fan, to all our worldwide members for not letting slip the result of todays Grand Prix. I've avoided all news and text services until now, but I can't keep away from here!

We were at a disadvantage in having a delayed transmission, but you guys gracefully kept up the suspense!

I popped into the F1 Forum twice this evening expecting to see a thread entitled "Hakkinen wins as Coulthard takes out Schumacher!" or something like that.

Just wanted to say... Thanks.

Aren't we a nice bunch of people, huh Sparky.
And to think that all it took was an e-mail to all of our members, threatening them with corporal punishment if they would reveal the outcome of the US Grand Prix.
Because Sparky doesn't want to be told, I said.

Yeah, that was why I wasn't on last evening letting slip the results after watching the race live at German RTL! Signing that e-mail "Bernie" really did the trick, Gerard...

Oh what an arse!

I got one from Bernie, but obviously not the same one you lot got. Mine came on Saturday and it told me that to watch the race, I had to go out, buy a TV, fit his cable satellite and give the English Labour party £1million.

Whoops! Sorry for letting that out, Bernie!!
