Stupid @#&$%*# boss wont give me and the wife the time off to official again this year. Bit ****ed after the wife just gave up half of her holidays to do a course for work.
Anyway, those of you who were there last year you may remember us - we were part of the lunch stop crew. I was probably wandering around talking and the missus was on the time out control. |

I can relate to this. Bad luck indeed. I was speaking to the Boatspeed boys today and they have limited the CV8 to 300 klms per hour. They reakon there balls aren't big enough to find out what it will do. |

Wasn't a 1600 a class or category (or both) winner the last couple of years. Its the one that dumped oil all aver the road on the last day in last years event. Forgot to thank him for that after the drive from Queenstown to Hobart, just a tad slippery!

I'd be very interested to find out why the R32 was deemed ineligible. What changes are made to it over a standard road-going R32?

Why wouldn't a R32 golf be eligable,I can sell you one brand new from my showroom right now or is it just the Targa old mates club not wanting a Subaru and Porche beater in the competition.
One of the reasons I have never like the Targa Orgsanisation, too mant hidden agenda or rules. Christ !, the Alfa is allowed to run why not the VW ?. |
