Superbikes on 10 for Aussie viewers
Just noticed in todays TV guide that channel 10 will be showing round one of the superbike world championship today for those who didnt get to catch the race on Fox sports when it was on.

I think you will find this is Australian Superbikes. I don't believe Ch10 has the rights to air WSBK this year.

you could be right bestfit , I looked again and it just says superbike championship , no mention of world championship , sorry if i mislead anyone.

Had some great racing. Josh Brookes outstanding. Marcus, in some tv publications it did actually say that it was showing WSBK, it would be so great if they would show both. But be that as it may, the racing was great the ASBK are back, strong and where they belong

Agree, great to see the Australian SBK Championship back on the road to recovery. Remember the days when an Australian Superbike Championship win guarenteed you at best a factory 500cc ride, and at worst a World Superbike Championship ride.
Something needs to be done about the race formats, three 9 lap races? How about mirror the WSB races, with a Supersport race in the middle (which also would have been good to see). Are these being shown on Inside Speed and/or Speedweek this year. If Aussie SBK's rate well, maybe it will encourage TEN to reverse their misguided decision to drop the Championship from their line-up. |

oh yeah dont get me wrong the Aussie boys know how to do it I was just wrong in assuming for some reason it was the World supers , my mistake and I apologise if I mislead anyone.
But certainly great to see our local boys getting some TV , certainly one way to help their careers. |

agree racer69 - 2 x 30min races or whatever for both superbike and supersport classes would be good.....
