Favourite Track
I'd like to post this as a poll, but there are simply too many options!
In CART's history, which would you have to consider your favourite circuit? Perhaps that's too tough a question. So let's go with Top-3 instead... Your choices would include... ATLANTA, BRANDS HATCH, CHICAGO, CLEVELAND, DENVER, DETROIT, ELKHART LAKE, FONTANA, GATEWAY, HOMESTEAD, HOUSTON, INDIANAPOLIS, LAGUNA SECA, LAS VEGAS, LAUSITZ, LONG BEACH, LOUDON, MEADOWLANDS, MEXICO CITY, MIAMI, MICHIGAN, MID-OHIO, MILWAUKEE, MONTERREY, MONTRÉAL, MOTEGI, NAZARETH, ONTARIO, PHOENIX, POCONO, PORTLAND, RIO de JANEIRO, RIVERSIDE, ROCKINGHAM, SANAIR, ST.PETERSBURG, SURFER'S PARADISE, TEXAS, TORONTO, TRENTON, VANCOUVER, and WATKINS GLEN. To be honest, I don't recall a number of them. But from those I do... Michigan Cleveland Indianapolis I guess that "racing", to me, means "passing". At least to the extent of "being able to". Perhaps that helps explain my choices. And, of course, "speed" impresses me, solidifying my claim... |

I couldn't help it mac!!! I had five but changed it to four!! Laguna and Monterrey have a great track layout. Vancouver and Montreal (the one I deleted) have some pretty cool scenery around the track. And Cleveland is my hometown so I had to go with that one!!!

Nope, the original question is easy.
Road America Of course, I've actually raced there, so maybe I have a bias. But that is an amazing race course. |

RA is my first choice. After it's hard to say... For instance Cleveland and Milwaukee have both produced some terrific races, but recent ones have been a tad dull. I'm going to say Michigan should be on there and I really like the new Mexico city track. I really wish that we had the amount of passing we had a few years ago where passing happened on every course, even the lousy tracks like Vancouver and Mid Ohio (cool track just not for this series).

Road America Cleveland Laguna Seca I do agree with the sentiments that diversity is what makes Champ Car great, the differing disciplines, but hell these are 3 mega tracks |

Lets see:
Street Course: Long Beach b-cuz it's always one hell of a party! Road Course: Laguna Seca - IMHO the most picturesque road course in the world. Oval: Fontana - great facility and great racing! Okay, so I am kinda biased toward the Cali races, but then again, I love the state that I live in |

Long Beach
Rio Michigan with a nod to (as someone else said) the OLD Vancouver setup, with the red-circle hairpin and that devilish T5 chicane. keke |
