Autosport again has been asking the questions what will happen to Menu, Reid and Rydell for the 2001 season??
What do the Ten Tenths experts think... Should they go to the Germany and earn the money and attention that they believe they deserve. Or should they stay in Britain and lower their ambitions (and earnings)to compete in this new Saloon car championship to compete agianst all these privateer teams with minimal manufacturer input? Cast your votes now..... |

I hope Rydell can stay not bothered about the other 2.

I reckon their best bet would be to all head for the DTM. It is, after all, coming to Donington (almost certainly) next year anyway and so you'll still get your chance to "ARSE" Menu and Reid.
Is Menu still doing as is rumoured and looking for a V8 Supercar drive for 2001? Certainly hope so; would be nice to see how many stop-go penalties he racks up for nerfing someone off!! |

Rydell unwanted? Pah!
No no no, it's only Reid and Menu that are unwanted, not Rickard. He is supposed to have impressed Merc's DTM team, and Volvo are desperate for him to test their new baby for 2002. He is also considering the BTCC. 'Nuff said.

Well I guess Mercedes need someone to replace Klaus Ludwig. Rydell could be the man.
Reid could return to being an instructor, though I doubt very much that he needs to Menu I'm not sure about. Retire, Diniz style, and concentrate on running his Formula Renault team. |

Yes Menu Motorsport will be entering F3 next year and will be using Renault engines for the season. The team ran in Formula Ford last year. They have already signed the 1999 British Formula Renault runner-up Rob Austin and are now looking for a driver for the second seat.
