I don't know how you do it Peter! Don't you put any Ferraris or renaults in your top 8?

Good job on the turnaround.
Looks like my strategy of picking Michael to win is paying dividends. Note to Ralf Fan: there's a spelling mistake in my nick. |

I've only just realised that Jaques and Jos aren't entered this year and I've had them 1st and 2nd for the last five races!

Reign of terror!
It has to be said RF, you're making everyone else look tardy! When I take over (come on, it's inevitable!) I'll try to beat your speed, but I'd probably just lazily leave it until the next day. |

Eh..Actually i just read the rules this morning, and I didn't put my guesses for the WDC final standings, so I'll disqualify myself and restart in Canada.

No No No!! Flaming Wuzzule you did everything correctly... you are supposed to post your predictios for the FINAL WDC standings at the start of the year BEFORE The AUSSIE GP!!
IT is used as a TIEBREAKER incase the total pints in the END are the same... since you did not Start from Rnd 1 you donot have to post the WDC predictions as you have an unfair advantage of knowing the championship standings till Rnd7... Unfortunately no tie-breaker points for you |

ralf fan: Mind reading the rules?
"In your first entry, please post not only predicted results for the Australian GP, places 1-8, and a choice for Pole Position, but also your predictions for the top eight positions in the final standings in the WDC." Since this was my first entry, I was supposed to put my predictions for WDC. And because I didn't, I didn't follow the rule, so my points are voided. |

Damn... i have to tell Ashmore to change the wordings of the rules... he's trying to be like the FIA creating confusion!!
Flamming Wuzzle: First entry here means the predictions for the Aussie GP... Let me explain: Before the start of the season we make the enterers predict the top 8 for the WDC.... This is used as a tie-breaker incase there is a tie for the top-spot in the championship... In your case you didnot join the competition from the Aussie GP hence you joined AFTER the start of the season so you cannot enter the tie-breaker as you basically are out of time as the last date for the WDC is before the Aussie GP free practice... Hence my friend your points are not void and they do count... be happy you got 9 pts.. and you beat your supreame head (ME that is) any further confusion and i will gladly clear it up... |

Well...Having recovered from the dizzying heights of fame of winning this week's predictions, I have to say Congrats to you Ralf Fan for posting such a speedy update on the Results of the Predictions Competition!!.
Your obvious mastery of the algorithms of Excel or whatever spreadsheet you're using is quite impressive. Specially in spite of the unspeakably evil deeds of Juan today Cheers and let's hope for a better result for Ralf next time, RT |
