Well, seeing as Matt Neal has just signed for Peugeot, where does this leave his family's team, Team Dynamics. Short of a car, they now don't have a driver - will they both in 2001 ?

OK, i'll answer my own question...
Although Matty and some of the Team Dynamics crew are joining VLR and Pug for 2001, it is a possibility that the original TD team may stay on and enter a privateer effort in the series next term. |

And just what is going to happen if Matty misses his breaking point as he did in the opener at Brands this year, and ends up T-Boning the Team Dynamics car then?!!
He'd be fired for being so rubbish as to be behind it in the first place of course... |

Tim Harvey driving for TD? It's an interesting thought.

I think that Harvey is likely to rejoin VLR as Soperman has... and continue his advisory role that he's occupied with TD for the past two seasons. Would be nice to see another old face back on track though... all we need is Cleland to make a comeback, and we'll be laughing

Can we have Jeff Allam back On second thoughts, he's probably developed too much of a habit of pulling into the pitlane the minute he gets a clear track in front of him

Before we start thinking about a driver for Team Dynamics don't we need to sort out what car they've got? I've lost track a bit, I presume we don't know what they're doing for a car.
Maybe the next shock announcement is that one of the Max Power girlies will be driving for Team Dynamics |

Alternatively, they were also interested in BMW and Ford provided the latter were going to provide some support? Anyone else hear something different? OTOH, Matt has always wanted a works seat. And with the new rules, that means everyone is on equal footing? Yeah, it would be cool to see people like Julian Bailey, Sudgen, Tim Harvey racing in the BTCC again. It will kinda be like as if went back in time... |

Team Dynamics have just released a press statement which says... absolutely nothing!! An announcement will be made at the Autosport show apparently... so it looks like they've got about as much of a clue what's going on there as we have then.

Surely the fact that it's an announcement at the Autosport Show says they're going to be sorted with something good.
If they were going to pull out or anything then you wouldn't expect them to be making the announcement at the Autosport Show. |

Or they could be stalling for time They were previously supposed to be making a formal announcement yesterday - at the same BMP/Peugeot press conference, I presume - but they didn't. The best they could come up with was, 'wait and see'
