Spectrum Clubman's car
Ready other comments about "where is my old car got too?" got me thinking. I used to own a clubman's car known either as "JASAG 3" or the "Spectrum". It was a brilliant car, which I never should have sold. I had lots of success in the sprint and hillclimb world with it. It was sold onto a guy called Ernie, who meticulously re-built it. It was rumoured it may have gone to the States. The car was a Mallock/Phantom clone. Jim Sword got it right. I rue the day i sold this car. It has had F.Ford, F1300 and a 135bhp 1600x-flow in it. It had a Morris 1000 axle, with all the right diffs, plus a Rocket box.
Anyone with any knowledge would be appreciated. |

Did the car run in F750 for a while? I think that a former neighbour of mine had it & ran it a Curborough a few times.

it was built by Jim Sword circa end of 1980's. I have the original "Triple C" article about Jim Sword and how teh first 3 JASAG cars were built. It was built as a FFord clubman's car and raced at Ingilston before being sold to a guy in the Midlands, who re-named it the "Spectrum". He raced it in B-Sport clubmans until I bought it in 1988.

I own a Jasag and I live in the States, so this could be my car...
I realise this is a very old Thread. The car was very incomplete when I got it, and I'm ( slowly ) collecting parts for it. |

Flat out Farr and me have Emailed, and we sent eachother some pics of the car.
My Jasag is the car he used to race. This is very exciting. Right now the car is just a empty shell, but I have plans of turning it back into a racer. The knowledge that Flat out Farr has of this car will make a huge difference... |
