A. C. E. motors should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Driver marshalling 16th October, Silverstone, HSCC meeting.

I would like to thank Fay and the marshals on post 21 at Silverstone on Saturday the 16th of October.
I was there marshalling to get a signature on my race licence, and found it quite fun to be on the other side of the Arco for an entire meeting.
Thanks to Chris and Kat who made braving the rain worthwhile.
You never know, I might just do it again, for fun next time.
PM me if you were on post.
Thanks again, Ace.

Glad you enjoyed your day, hope you now have a better understanding of marshalling and flagging in particular.

I was not on your post but spoke to you in the morning.

Is it still SOM FFords next year, if so see you in the gravel somewhere !!!!

Hi Alan.
Yes still on for Formula Fords next year, but I am looking at cars from around the late 80’s early 90’s, so I will not be running them with the HSCC.
Please don’t be too disappointed if we don’t meet in the gravel, but I will be going to a few races over the winter and may see you there.
Got my “Marshals do it in orange” stickers from Andy this week, they will be on my car next season as a reminder of my day as a flaggy.

You will see Alan and me next year as we do a lot of BRSCC Midlands meetings.

See you at Mallory next year if not before. You can always come to the bar(at Mallory in the paddock) at the end of the meeting as a lot of us tend to have a drink before we go home.
