Anybody in here that have news about Quebec's Andrew Ranger?

I think he needs at least one more year of Atlantics.

What he needs is to race in Europe.

Did he even win a race in Atlantics this year? What's with all these scrubs trying to move up without being able to win in their current jobs?

I hardly think the kid is a 'Scrub', but I also don't think he should move up just yet.
A move to Europe would be beneficial, but only if he can get in a good team. You need to surround yourself with quality people to help you advance. I am pretty sure he has that at Sierra-Sierra. He'll find the top step in '05 in Atlantics. Champ Car soon but not yet. |

Somewhere like British F3 would be an ideal place for him to develop.
Atlantics is a pale shadow of what it needs to be. |

I think what's happening is that it's so hard to get into any series that drivers try for that chance as hard as they can at ever opportunity, even if they're not quiet ready because that opportunity may not be there in the future. Just ask Jon Fogarty. For that matter also ask Bourdais regarding F1.

Or he could just try and find the sponsorship to race in CC in 2005, an experience that is worth more than many years in F3 and GP2. Also an experience in which he could actually make a living instead of paying for a drive. |
