RSS Clubmen's Series

So what do we make of this boys...? [From the RSS website...]

"Sunday 30th January 2005
Clubman's Rallycross to run alongside Super Series

A press release will be issued within the next couple of days, following the completion of a deal to run a new clubman's Rallycross series. This will run alongside the Rallycross Super Series, for the 2005 season, which will create an exciting structure for future years. All current Minicross and Stock Hatch cars will be catered for in this new clubman's series during 2005, replacing the 'Super Series Plate' category. There will be no restrictions on the size of the entry in each of the two classes. Entry fees will be £150 per event for both categories. More details to follow..."

News to me, but looks tempting given what the BRDA are offering!

It's got my vote. I spoke to one of the organisers today and liked what he had to say.

I have not paid my subs to the BRDA yet and depending what happens regarding the BTRDA chmpionship I might not bother at all.

My vote too

Spoke to the organisers and they seam to make alot of sense as they have been listening to what we want !

They have been talking with the MDA and are going to anounce a clubmans championship over the next few days were you can do either RSS rounds and MDA rounds .

This is a bit of good news in the present climate of doom and gloom and the best bit is that the RSS rounds will be £150 entry the MDA are still confirm their entrys but from a recent e-mail from them they say that their events will be from £70 to £150

I will be sending in my registration and supporting this as its a refreshing bit of news as i canot afford £200 - 400 per event and do not realish a championship that uses the same track 4 times!

Hopefully clubman rallycross is on the up!

Whats every one else doing ie. supercars, euro div, mod, s/hatch , minicross???

Cheers

Marty

According to the the MDA website it looks like stock hatch drivers will be invited to take part in the Minicross round at the Dutch Eindhoven circuit too (with free entry!). Sounds good...

I now know the BRDA has made a offer to the MDA.That offer is the opportunity of continuing to race at MSA BRC rounds and a cost effective and stable package to participate in the BRDA/BTRDA.

How accurate are the BTRDA dates, Queen, Is there any chance of change or are we stuck with four Wildtracks?

I have been told the dates stand. If I do hear of anything changing I will let you know. One thing I have heard is that they are putting a third set of loose. So you can get out of second gear. That should make for closer and better racing.

Hi Queen who are you ?
Thats good news about Wildtracks , should make better racing , i do''nt know about
being closer, looked a bit to close before , perhaps we will not see so much contact
on the last corner.
