RSS Pembrey cancelled

Quote from RallycrossSuperiesseries.com

"Blyton to host 'Rallycross Super Series Festival'
It has now been confirmed that the ‘2005 Rallycross Super Series Festival’ will take place at Blyton on Saturday June 18th and Sunday June 19th (this event replaces Pembrey on the original calendar). The ‘2 wheel drive Trophy’ will take place on the Saturday, while the second event in the 2005 Rallycross Super Series, the ‘Midlands Rallycross Masters’ will take place on the Sunday. A press release about this will follow and will be sent out to all drivers. "

I think its been known for a few weeks now that Pembrey had fallen through, RPL have probably delayed announcing the fact until they found a replacement venue.
I'm a bit dissapointed its Blyton though. The RSS seems to be based around Croft & Blyton & the BTRDA is mainly Wildtracks with a Croft & two Blyton's thrown in, come on organisers variety is the spice of life.

Must admit, i would like to have seen lydden / knockhill as 1 off the btrda dates to replace the 4 wildtrack events.

Does anyone know if the Welsh Masters is to be rescheduled? Or will the 'Welsh Masters' now take place in Lincolnshire as well...?! Sorry, I'm confused!

Mondello does not appear on the MDA/RSS clubmans calendar so we may not be coming over the water to see you, but on the plus side we may be going over the water in the other direction instead, witch makes up for the dissapointment of not going to Mondello.

If the Clubmans and MDA aren't going to Mondello, this event will risk being cancelled also. Why not go to Ireland in August???

The date will probably be used for one of the two rounds of the domestic c/ship that was postponed this month due to the resurfacing work

So silver it looks like I'll have to make another trip across the pond to see you

Nittymaki has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

The MDA Clubmans Champs will be visiting Mondello Park this.
It will be part of the RSS on Sunday 7th August.
This will be a non champ event for stockhatch and minicross cars, as is the Valkeswaard event in July.

Due to the cancellation of the first 2 Irish champ events thee will now be a round the day before the BRC on April 23rd and a round the day before the RSS on Saturday August 6th.

Also I believe the reason the Pembrey event was cancelled was because the circuit owners gave the 18th/19th June date to another party and all other dates given to the RSS team clashed with either MDA Dates or European Champ dates, therefore they were unable to race here.

However a suitable replacement has been found in Blyton and we now get a 2 day rallycross festival. With a host of announcements about this event on the way ove the next few weeks.
