Hello all, anybody who can't wait 'til Mallory for the season to start planning on playing out this weekend at Brands?
And if so have you received tickets or anything through yet? |

Full time table can be found here, http://www.brscc-se.co.uk/races/time12mar05.pdf.
But in brief there will be races for: V Sport, Mighty Minis, Monopostos, Alfa Romeos, MSV F.Ford, Euro Saloons & Xtreme Minis Only six races each afternoon, but that should hopefully mean an earlyish finish! Jon Last edited by JonJ; 9 Mar 2005 at 15:30. |

Brands before 750MC Mallory!!!
Got my ticket today. Can only do the Sunday though (as a flaggie due to still recovering from breaking leg at Aintree last November) This will be the first time for years that my first meeting of the year is not at Mallory! And yes, I will be at Mallory on the 20th!

Despite Snapper Baz's pessimism (see seperate thread) a very enjoyable start to the season. Some close racing, a few reds (mainly for cars in dangerous positions), some oil spills to keep the troops warm brushing, even a startline shunt (Alfas).
There was a good number of marshals on Sunday, with a number of new faces (but we could still do with some more in Pits/Startline/Paddock, folks). The timing was relaxed, with a 4:30-ish finish on both days which considering the cold was just about right and included a one hour lunch. A couple of the grids were on the small size but running the Extreme Minis with the LMA Eurosaloons and rejigging the Alfa classed helped. The MSV FF entry was disappointing (10 cars) but will hopefully improve into the season. |

Bummer - the Irish contingent usually manage to get a prize between the four of us whenever we come over *smug*

Follow my tip for winning said raffle, it usually works. Wait until half way though then act all disapppointed and start to walk away. Will normally guarantee your name comes out of the hat as you're 50 yards away prompting people to either shout at you or throw themselves in front of your car.
