Alex Margaritis DTM

Just seen that Alex was present at the Mugello test and turning some very impressive laptimes..it would seem he was fastest all day. Does anybody know what car he was in and if he has a deal for the season? I assumed all seats were taken now except MG??

Someone suggested on one of these boards that he was going to drive for Mucke Motorsport. Perhaps he brings backing which would allow them to run a second car?

According to Italiaracing.net he's driving for Mucke.

There were rumours he would drive in Fia GT for Konrad Motorsport.

I'd heard the rumours a while back but assumed they'd come to nothing, he seems to be going well though

Fastest? More than 1 sec slower than Frentzen.

So it is official now I guess, Alex will indeed drive for Mucke. It was agreed about a month ago actually. As for backing, probably this time it is family money but don't forget that he was an official Opel driver last year in the F3 Euroseries. Based on the results he got in that championship the last two year, one can say he is talented enough not to be regarded a pay-driver.

Just because he was an Opel driver it doesn't mean that he didn't pay last year. All F3 drives are pay drives.
