When you hope the barrier will hold

Outlon Park, Druids, bouncing my way to slam into the barrier:

I'm assuming it did hold Ken! That's a fantastic shot.

Nice shot, it is the way you are looking sideways at what your are heading for knowing full well you can't do anything about it. Unfortunatly it is not hosted at the momement, but the shot I took moments before this one had the cars owner who was sat in the pax seat looking out the side window. With the open face skid lid you could actually see the look in his eyes as he was trying to work out how much it was going to cost!

I was trying to be discrete and not catch a certain flaggie leaping for cover. I didn't like the way the driver was looking at me as he headed my way, as you will notice above he looked like he was lining it up in my direction. After that shot he totally filled the 300mm with his helmet. Then the car was lost in gravel dust and lots of smelly water from the tyre wall.

The whole FPA at Druids thing started with this chappie, who was determined to plough the gravel from the first lap. He didn't last long.

It did appear as though they were out to get me. Nice Britcar shot by the way. I even had Reid try to mow me down when Britcar was at Croft last year as he lost it on the wet grass. I collect the odd FF, Clio, VW, Legend and any Ford saloon going at my bit of barrier. I think keeping a safe distance from me might be good for your health.
