Check these out--more lookalikes!
Check out this pair of lookalikes. It's been a while since I ran into such high quality lookalikes. It seems some Germans are very passionate about their DTM and STW. I wonder if there's any current generation (post '00) DTM lookalikes out there for the Audi/Opel/Mercedes???
STW Opel Vectra http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...563206982&rd=1 DTM 155 http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...562758779&rd=1 PS: I also saw WRC lookalike Impreza and rally Audi coupe today as well. |

How about, 'road cars with naff copy cat touring car paint jobs'?
To my recollection, on the road I've seen a Vectra in the RML Vauxhall Motorsport paint scheme (circa '96), and a 406 in the MSD Esso Ultron Green & Gold c1997 (yummy!). A fad that makes your car look more interesting than everybody elses huh? |

Way back i used to run a vectra SRi 2.5v6 which was tagged up with the yellow/white racing kit along with a variety of wheels/body kits - oh the joys of the motor trade!! there are also two replicas of the Chevrolet Lacetti WTCC cars doing the rounds at the moment, same skin - very different guts lol.....

I always see a 888 liveried Vauxhall Vectra in the paddock at Croft. I guess it must belong to one of the marshals.

The 888 Vauxhall does indeed belong to one of Crofts Finest... Looks good but a bog standard 91 Cavalier 2.0l 8v

I wonder if there's a dealer part number attached to those Lancettis WTCC race decal kits. |

The Lacetti replica is a Chevrolet owned car rented out to dealers/shows for static displays and has therefore been kitted out the same as the team race cars... |

It looks very close to the original. Even has a turbo XR4i engine like Rouse had in the racecar.

A 100% perfect replica, but you can't drive it on the street, I wonder why??

It has stock engine, stock chassis with fake roll cage? I can't see why it can't be used for the road? Unless the car was built from individual pieces like a kit car and may not hold together in a crash?? I just thought of that theory?
