Anybody wishing to do pre race testing will be able to do so on Saturday 3 December for £65 [pre booked] £75 on the day Absolute Media are kindly sponsoring the FF1600 Final, with £400.00 up for grabs in prize money. Thank you Chris Hodgen The Paddock Bar and Bistro will be open on the Saturday evening for those staying on circuit. _________________________________________________________________ 2004 Inaugural Meeting Feedback 'A race meeting at Anglesey in December? He must be crazy!' I never said that......honest! A grand meeting, it showed what can be done without paying stupid sums in entry fees, though we had a few dramas, like my lad had his gear lever come adrift at the start of the 2nd race, steered with one hand and changed gear, eventually, by pulling and pushing the cable with the other. Still got past Steve Clegg in his F3 though. Pity we didn't make the 3rd race. Obviously lots of hard work on your part and well worth the trip for us, thanks & hope it happens again What a great day that was; incredible weather, superb racing I agree with everyone elses comments, what a brilliant day, great racing and a really good atmosphere First time I've done Anglesey !!! What a cracking day & some great racing . A lovely atmosphere & thanx to rescue crew & your xmas songs ( I haven't laughed so much in ages :-) The club really looked after us & it was well worth the journey .I will definitely do it again brilliant weekend thanks, some of the best racing seen all season. What a shame we got to wait another 12 months? for the next one!!!! cheers mate Well, for all the softies that didn't come to Anglesey, you missed a cracker of a raceday! 12 races plus 45 minutes for lunch and a surprisingly mild temperature! The Formula Ford racing was the best I have seen all season. Apply to me for your entry forms now. |

Well.
I won't have an engine come December as it will be in bits, but if you want to let me have a play in your car Chris, I would love to do it.......... |

Well that's a gulf he needs to cross then isn't it?
RR. I believe your old Ginetta came 3rd at Anglesey last weekend on RP's racing comeback. He won in an IROC Camaro as well. |

I'm seriously thinking of competing in the Formula Ford races.
I hadn't been to Anglesey before until I dropped in there on the way back from Mondello Park (ferry to Holyhead) last Monday. It seems like the end of the universe! Force 9 gale blowing salty tasting rain sideways! I drove down a small gravel road that runs from the paddock behind the first corner looking for signs of life and found a kind maintainance operative doing some strimming by an old barn who allowed me to drive a slow (my usual pace) 3 laps for a look around. In any case Mrs. Potter and I are off on holiday (the first this year) on Monday 5th December and I have cunningly arranged the flights from Manchester. Oh that's convenient we can take in Anglesey at the weekend I suggested Diz has promised some decent weather so it should be good. |

I could ask Mrs Beckett to delay the arrival of JEB junior from the 4th December - then we could have a head-to-head Steve on a neutral track!
Oh - I have just been told I am unavailable for selection that weekend..... Round 1 to Mr Burns. |

EP, I think there is a thread in the marshals forum - basically I think you need to contact Alistair Garrett.
Here it is: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73590 Last edited by Ian Sowman; 28 Sep 2005 at 11:06. Reason: Adding link. |

Would be a great race with Pete, Keith and Stu Gough doing battle. Would be good to see Nev and Noel over as well but they both have babies due soon so could be tricky. We were joking at Brands that it would be funny if we were back in 16/17 years with our kids racing at the festival!!! |
