Most Beautiful LMP?
What is your choice for the most beautiful LMP?
For me off the top of my head, a tie between the 99' BMW V12 LMR, 00' Audi R8, or the 98' Ferrari 333sp! |

For me its either the 2001 MG - Lola EX257 or the 1999 Toyota GT1 GTP.

Well it certainly won't be any of the new lot cus of those stupid rear safety plates behind the back wheels. They totally spoil any attempt to sculpt the tail end into anything beautiful.
They're not needed and the sooner the ACO change the regs the better. |

The Olive Garden Lola certainly was a lovely looking car, most of the Lolas were actually, also, any of the Panoz, looked amazing... sounded wonderful

I'd say either Panoz LMP or the R&S MkIIIc - of the new generation of cars I'd say probably RML's Lola

Offhand BMW V12 LMR is about the only LMP I would describe as beautiful. The previous Pilbeam has nice form while the WR's are often quite stylish (probably the latest model looks the best despite the new rules).
That said. Some lmps while not physically beautiful look great: Courage C60, Panoz, Zytek. The paintjob is important too: Olive Garden Lola, Paul Belmondo C65 (with the smaller headlights and panda paintjob). There have I left out anything. |

It's the Dome S101 for me, mainly because of the shape of the front wheelarches and the exhaust duct for the front diffuser. Functional and beautifully formed. It's one of those cars I always want to do well

I have 3 and they have all already been mentioned:- MG EX257, MG EX261 (the current Lola LMP2 car) and the 2003 Bentley's which I have been lucky enough to have a very close look at a stunning car.
