Penske Promotes Cindric

Penske Racing president Tim Cindric has been promoted to assume overall management responsibility for a new entity deemed Penske Performance, Inc., overseeing all or Roger Penske’s racing operations in NASCAR, the Indy Racing League and the American Le Mans Series.

This story explains that John Erickson (GM of the NASCAR team) is switching to the ALMS program. Also, the open-wheel shop is being relocated to Mooresville, N.C, after three decades at Reading, Pa.
